TEN…NINE…EIGHT…SEVEN….

As always, the nation’s biggest NYE party is going down in the heart of Times Square, where several channels broadcast end-of-year celebrations leading up to the famous ball drop. While the thousands of attendees begin to line up early in the morning, waiting for hours only to celebrate in the bitter cold, we’ll be watching from the comfort of the couch.

To make sure you don’t “drop the ball” with your NYE celebration, we’ve assembled this guide to the biggest celebrations on TV and how you can stream them on your Roku device.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023

The granddaddy of all NYE celebrations returns with Ryan Seacrest taking on hosting duties for the 18th year in a row. The party begins at 8pm ET on ABC and covers celebrations in New York, Disneyland, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Puerto Rico.

Naturally, you can watch on ABC with a participating pay TV provider login. You can also tune in via Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, Vidgo, and YouTube TV. You can also watch via your local ABC affiliate using a digital HD antenna.

New Year’s Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

NYE is a special time at CNN, where the network lets Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen run free on the reveling streets of Times Square, starting at 8pm ET. You can watch on CNN with a participating pay TV provider login, or through Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party

Following the massive success of her ’21-’22 NYE celebration, Miley Cyrus may well be the new queen of the ball drop. This year she’ll be co-hosting the party with fellow Tennessee music royalty Dolly Parton, and the show promises to be electric.

Tune in starting at 10:30pm ET on NBC (connect with a participating pay TV provider login) and Peacock. You can also watch via Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV.

Free fireworks specials on The Roku Channel

NBC News NOW and LiveNOW from FOX will both be airing fireworks specials beginning at 9pm ET. Stream them for free on The Roku Channel!

Once the ball has dropped and the party has drawn to a close, you can kick back on New Year’s Day with everything new on Netflix in January.

Happy Streaming!
